Texas Drought. . .
The drought started late 2005, and we were Stage 2 conditions. In June 2006,we were in Stage 3 conditions, with no rain in the forecast. We normally see at least 30" of rain. Now in November 2006 we are near Stage 4 (emergency)conditions. Lake Lavon is 19' below normal level. Finally, in Spring of 2007 it rained and rained, and rained some more. So much now we were experiencing flooding and the lake was above normal level. But the lakes returned to level and water restrictions were lifted on July 3, 2007.

If those flowers grew in a drought, they sure are hardy! Hey, I love your gardening efforts. Can't wait to see them in person.
